Activity Waiver and Release of Liability

I understand that camping, hiking, outdoor recreation, travel to and from outdoor locations, shared meals, campfires, wildlife exposure, changing weather, uneven terrain, and group activities involve inherent risks. These risks may include, but are not limited to, slips, falls, illness, injury, allergic reactions, dehydration, heat illness, cold exposure, vehicle-related risks, equipment failure, fire-related risks, encounters with wildlife, and other foreseeable or unforeseeable hazards.

I voluntarily choose to participate and assume all risks associated with my participation.

I understand that I am responsible for my own health, safety, equipment, transportation, personal belongings, physical condition, and decision-making during the event.

I agree to follow posted rules, campground rules, park regulations, fire restrictions, safety instructions, and reasonable guidance provided by the organizer or administrator.

I understand that I should not participate in any activity that I believe is unsafe or beyond my ability.

I understand that I am responsible for disclosing any relevant medical conditions, allergies, dietary restrictions, or limitations that may affect my participation.

If I have a serious or life-threatening medical condition or allergy, I understand that I am responsible for communicating directly with the organizer or administrator before the event.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless Weekend Campouts, its owners, administrators, organizers, hosts, volunteers, contractors, affiliates, and representatives from claims, demands, damages, losses, expenses, or liability arising out of or related to my participation in any event or activity, except where prohibited by law.

For member-created or organizer-created events, I understand that the event may be organized by an independent organizer. Weekend Campouts may provide tools for discovery, registration, payment processing, communication, and coordination, but may not operate, supervise, guide, or manage every event.

I understand that I am responsible for reviewing the event details, communicating with the organizer, and deciding whether participation is appropriate for me.

I authorize reasonable emergency medical care to be obtained on my behalf if I am unable to make decisions for myself during an event. I understand that I am responsible for any medical costs incurred.

Unless I notify the organizer or administrator otherwise in writing, I understand that photos or videos may be taken during events and may be used for community, promotional, or marketing purposes.
